Blood circulation in the legs works using arteries that lead “good” oxygen-rich blood and nutrients from the heart to the feed to nourish the cells. In order to function properly, cells eliminate waste and carbon dioxide, which the veins return to the heart from the feet.

The blood in the veins must work hard against gravity.

The weight of the blood tends to dilate the veins. The walls of the veins must therefore be solid and strong. There are three natural mechanisms at work to bring blood to the heart:
